DEX Screener vs TradingView DEX Screener: Compare Pair-Level Data

DEX Screener and TradingView's DEX screener both list DEX pairs, but they expose different pair-level fields and suit different workflows.

Short answer

DEX Screener is built around pair pages: pool liquidity, FDV and market cap, buys, sells and unique makers by window, pair age, plus profiles, boosts and trending. TradingView's DEX screener, described in its screeners walkthrough as separate from its coin and CEX screeners, brings DEX pairs into TradingView's screening and charting environment. Use DEX Screener for pool-level participation detail and TradingView when you want DEX pairs alongside your other TradingView charts and tools. Compare the same pair address in both.

Limits of both

Neither tool tells you whether a contract is safe, whether liquidity can be withdrawn, or who controls the supply. Both show market data that can be generated by a few wallets. Use them for discovery and monitoring, and use explorers and contract checks for due diligence.

Both also depend on their own indexing. Brief disagreements between them, or with an explorer, are normal around fast activity. Persistent disagreements on the same pair address are worth reporting to the provider.

Comparing fairly

  1. Pick one pair address.
  2. Open it in both tools.
  3. Match time zone and interval.
  4. Compare price, volume window and liquidity definitions.
  5. Note fields only one tool shows.

Sources and methodology

DEX Screener behaviour comes from its official documentation (token listing, trending, boosting and API reference) as read on 17 October 2026. Interface labels may differ slightly from API field names. Examples use illustrative numbers and no real token is implied. TradingView's DEX screener is described from its screeners walkthrough.

  1. DEX Screener: API reference — token and pair endpoints, nullable fields, rate limits.
  2. DEX Screener: Token listing — listing after first liquidity and trade; supply inputs.
  3. TradingView: Screeners walkthrough — coin, CEX and DEX screeners.
