How to Switch Binance, Bybit, OKX and Hyperliquid Context in ChartsPod

ChartsPod pulls live data from Binance, Bybit, OKX and Hyperliquid. Switching venue changes the book, the flow and the derivatives data, and sometimes the symbol.

Short answer

Switch venue context in ChartsPod by changing the market's exchange (Binance, Bybit, OKX or Hyperliquid) and then re-checking each tool, because venue availability is shown per tool. Expect the symbol format, contract multiplier, funding schedule, open-interest units and order-book depth to differ by venue. Compare venues on the same asset and interval, and label every observation with its venue.

Control names in the terminal can change between releases. If a label differs from this guide, look for the setting that does the job described.

Example: funding across venues

Illustrative: the same BTC perpetual shows funding of +0.010% on one venue and +0.030% on another for the same period. The higher rate suggests stronger long demand on that venue. If price is led by flow on the high-funding venue, the move may be more leverage-driven than the lower rate elsewhere suggests.

Record each venue's funding with its schedule; venues pay funding at different intervals, so compare rates normalised to the same period.

Checks after switching

After changing venue, confirm three things before reading anything: the symbol (including any multiplier), that each tool you rely on is available for that venue and contract, and the units for open interest and volume. Then re-run any screen or alert you rely on, because thresholds tuned on one venue may not suit another.

Comparing venues

Funding differences between venues show where leverage is concentrated; a move led by one venue's flow can be arbitraged to others. See Multi-Exchange Crypto Charts: Questions to Ask Before Subscribing and TradingView Crypto Symbols: Exchange Pair vs Aggregated Asset.

ChartsPod capabilities were checked against its public overview, documentation index, markets and indicator pages on 17 October 2026. Exact control names inside the terminal can change between releases, so this guide describes what to set and check rather than quoting menu labels.
