Order Flow During Weekend Trading in Crypto: What Price Response Adds to the Reading

Weekend crypto markets often have thinner books and fewer participants. The same order flow can move price further, and moves may reverse when liquidity returns.

Short answer

During weekends, depth near the price is often lower and spreads wider, so aggressive flow moves price more per unit of delta. Measure price change per unit of delta on weekends versus weekdays on the same market, and check whether weekend moves hold into Monday as liquidity returns. A weekend breakout on thin flow is a candidate for reversal, not a conclusion.
