AI Crypto Multi-Timeframe Analysis: How to Check Timestamps Before Trusting the Answer
Each timeframe's last closed bar ends at a different time. A multi-timeframe answer has to say which bar it used on each.
Short answer
Before trusting an AI multi-timeframe answer, require the close time of the last bar used on every timeframe. A daily bar may have closed 20 hours ago while the 15-minute bar closed a minute ago, so 'daily bullish, 15m bearish' may just reflect different data ages. Check that the higher timeframe's live bar isn't being treated as closed, and that all timeframes come from the same venue.
Timestamps the answer must carry
| Value | Timestamp to require | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1D last bar | Close time | Can be ~24h old |
| 4H last bar | Close time | Up to 4h old |
| 15m last bar | Close time | Minutes old |
| Venue | Same for all | Comparability |
Checks before trusting it
Worked example
Illustrative: at 19:47 the daily view reflects data to midnight; a 5% drop since then shows only on lower timeframes. The 'conflict' was data age.
