Taker Buy-Sell Ratios in Crypto: Units and Time Windows That Change the Result

A taker buy/sell ratio of 1.2 means taker buy volume was 20% higher than taker sell volume. In share terms, buyers were about 54.5% of taker volume.

Short answer

Binance's taker long/short ratio endpoint reports buyVol, sellVol and buySellRatio per period (latest 30 days). A ratio of 1.2 means buy-aggressor volume ≈ 54.5% of the total — a modest tilt. Ratios on short periods are noisy; on long periods they hide intraperiod swings. Choose the period to match your question, convert to delta (buy − sell) to see size, and compare with price over the same period.
